From Age 7 to World Champion

I took my first steps into the world of Taekwon-Do at the age of seven. What started as a simple hobby quickly evolved into a lifelong passion. By the time I turned 16, I earned a place on the Irish National Taekwon-Do Team, traveling the globe to compete for my country. My competitive journey also saw me represent Ireland as a dedicated member of the National Kickboxing Team.

Over the course of my career, I reached the pinnacle of martial arts, securing two ITF World Champion titles and multiple World Cup victories. One of my most cherished milestones was being honored as the Best Overall Female Competitor at the ITF World Cup at both the junior and senior levels.

Martial arts opened doors for me to share my knowledge across continents, coaching students in locations ranging from California and New Zealand to Argentina. Currently, I serve as an Expert Coach with TKDCoaching.com and hold a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science.

In addition to my athletic career, I am a qualified primary school teacher with seven years of classroom experience. This background helps me recognize that every child learns uniquely and at their own pace. My mission at McCagh Martial Arts is to ensure every student feels included, encouraged, and empowered to reach their full potential.
Taekwon-Do offers so much more than physical techniques. It instills vital life skills like confidence, discipline, and resilience. Whether a student aims for a gold medal or simply wants to improve their fitness and social skills, I am dedicated to helping them achieve greatness.
